You are absolutely right about this - there are no exceptions.  Even
such names as Wl/adysl/aw you would prenounce (gosh, how shall I do it
in English?) as[Vwahdyhswahv].  Naturally then, one should apply it also
to the following names:

Stanisl/aw (e.g. Skrowaczewski, Moniuszko)
Pawel/ (Klecki)
Mieczysl/aw Karl/owicz

Another letter causing sometimes problems is accented 'o' (like in
Go'recki).  It should always be prenounced as 'u' (like in English 'put').
And '-tsky' at the end, pleeeeease...:-).

PS.:  BTW Anybody out there still struggling with recent MIDEM Prize
winner's first name? Sorry, but I still cannot figure out how to write
its pronunciation in English...:-(
