To John Smyth's list of excellent chamber choirs I would like to add the
group (name alludes me) which Phillippe Herreweghe conducts.  I recently
had the great pleasure of hearing this group in a concert of music by
Heinrich Schutz as well as a couple of interesting works by some older
(than JSB) members of the Bach family.
