I envy your having had the opportunity to hear Damrosch conducting Wagner.
The music of Wagner was central to Damrosch's career and yet, as far as
I know, he never made any commercial recordings of Wagner. While some
of his NBC broadcasts survive, they reside in the Library of Congress...and
can only be auditioned there.
