Recently we had the "World Famous" Aussie Chamber Orch play the Beethoven
Triple with Isserlis, Tan, and its leader Tognetti - so what? Well, the
Usual reviewer for the paper did Not write - another bloke described the
whole Concert using SPORTING TERMS!! Is this the way to go?? Quite how the
Mendelssohn "Italian" & the Schumann Cello can "qualify", I aint sure?? One
phrase @ the start of the review caught my eye = "the Opera House seats
were filled nearly to capacity with a wildly enthusiastic crowd"!!!
Seems to me like "somebody is doing something Right"??.
