Rossini's Stabat Mater on Period Instruments

I'm interested in a recent Harmonia Mundi recording of Rossini's Stabat
Mater conducted by Marcus Creed.  I think it's the first recording of this
work using period instruments.  I have a version by Hickox on Chandos but
wasn't taken with the performance.

Has anyone heard the Creed version? Concerning the Stabat Mater's
discography, I'd like recommendations.
