Sony recently released a disc of the Shostakovich piano concertos performed
by Bronfman and Salonen (LA Philharmonic). Also, the disc has the piano
quintet from Bronfman and the Julliard String Quartet.

Any opinions on this new recording? I have one version on EMI Classics for
Pleasure (I think) but I don't recall the performers except that the
pianist was Russian. At any rate, my discography is thin. If not
Bronfman, where should I turn?
