I don't know the 4th, but I was at the 1967 Prom performance of the 3rd,
which I see from the note to the Chandos recording was the one for which
Gerhard prepared the stereo version of the tape.  I was impressed then
and was pleased to find that I still was when I got the CD.

Of course the fact that like Gerhard (and Shostakovich and Rameau and Glenn
Gould) I was born on September 25 has nothing to do with it.
