I also like the Hamerik symphonies, but the Gernsheim set still has not
hit the U.S.  (well, it hasn't hit me).  Ditto for the Bendix symphonies;
I think I'm being deprived on purpose.  Anyways, I would love to have both
sets; I've been getting more engrossed in Romantic-era symphonies and
chamber music lately.

I wouldn't do that, but a piano sonata from Bendix is available on a Rondo
*CD*.

Richard also asked if anyone had first-hand knowledge of the Bendix
symphonies.  Len Mullenger's "Music on the Web" site has a review of the
Danacord set - fairly complimentary.
