Berlin isn't an obscure label.  It's very good - very rarely do they
present anything that isn't top notch.  Their recording standards are
high too.  It's not expensive because they use a lot of East German
material often recorded in pre Wende days.  Thye also specialise in
composers with East German connections - hence Schumann.  The Berlin
recording you mention is Staatskapelle Dresden, a very good band.  I
don't know the conductor though.  But it should be reliable.  There are
several DG recordings of Op 86 with JE Gardiner and with Thielemann.
