Latin American Cultural Week in New York City, November 10 Through 21

Pan American Musical Art Research (PAMAR) has announced the opening of
Latin American Cultural Week in New York, November 10 through November
21.  During this time, venues throughout the City will host presentations
of Latin American dance, music, visual arts, film, theater and literature.
PAMAR has worked with The Americas Society, Christies, Instituto Cervantes,
The Joyce Theater, Steinway & Sons, Skirball Center for the Performing
Arts at NYU, Christ & St.  Stephen's Church, Cornelia Street Cafe, El
Museo del Barrio, several Latin American national consulates, galleries,
art museums and many other venues to present this very special event.

November 12 & 19 - Brazooca Band At Cafe Wha - The longest running
Brazilian night in New York City!  A trip to all styles of Brazilian

November 13 - The Pablo Mayor Trio - performing repertoire from Colombian
pianist Pablo Mayor's renowned 12-piece band. 9pm.  No cover.  More at

November 14 - Concert "Duo Caruso-Da Silva" - Argentine pianist Lucia

November 15 -Philharmonic Orchestra Of The Americas Concert - Music of
Mexican composer Enrico Chapela, Gershwin, Arturo Marquez, Piazzolla and

November 16 - The Evolution Of Argentine Classical Music - This concert
traces the evolution of Argentine classical music through its main
Composers and with an Homage to world acclaimed Master composer Alberto
