Chamber Players International's November 7 "Musical Cuisine" Concert
Presents All-Mozart Program - Concert Features World Renowned Violinist
Mark Peskanov

On Sunday, November 7 at 12 noon, Chamber Players International's Musical
Cuisine concert series presents a special brunch and All-Mozart program
at the DeSeversky Conference Center, located on the campus of the New
York Institute of Technology, corner of Northern Blvd (Route 25A) and
West Road in Old Westbury, New York.

This program will present world-renowned violinist Mark Peskanov in an
extraordinary all-Mozart concert of two great concerti for violin and
small orchestra.

Mr. Peskanov is the winner of numerous international awards including
an Avery Fisher Career Grant and the Isaac Stern Award.  He has been a
guest soloist on numerous occasions with the Chicago Symphony and the
New York, Los Angeles and London Philharmonics as well as the Cleveland
and Philadelphia Orchestras, among others.  He has appeared regularly
at the summer festivals in Aspen, Boulder, Grant Park, the Mann Music
Center, Tanglewood and the Hollywood Bowl and has performed throughout
North America as well as in Australia, Japan, the Middle East, Europe
and South America.

This unique program begins with a champagne brunch buffet at 12 noon
followed by the concert at 1:30 PM.  Admission is $60 per person with

Musical Cuisine is long established as a popular Long Island classical
chamber music series.  It has the unusual distinction of presenting
world-class artists performing chamber music in an intimate and relaxed
environment after a champagne brunch.

Chamber Players International is a major regional presenting and
performing arts organization, presenting between 25 and 30 concert events
serving the entire New York metropolitan area.  Its artistic mission is
to bring chamber music and chamber orchestra performances of the highest
artistic quality to audiences throughout the area with such world-renowned
ensembles as the International Chamber Orchestra of Rome and New York
core-ensemble members as violinists Mark Peskanov and Janet Sung, violist
Toby Hoffman, cellist Nathaniel Rosen, clarinetist Charles Neidich and
pianists Jeffrey Biegel, Mirian Conti and Gerald Robbins.  In the 2004-05
season CPI will have subscription concerts series at the DeSeversky
Center, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation (Manhasset), and Molloy
