How much is Elgar's "Dream" worth on CD? If price is an issue--and
current "Dream" performances range from $10 (Naxos) to more than 30
(imports)--note that Musical Heritage Society is offering the Boult stereo
version for $11.99 plus shipping; that's down from its opening published
price of $17.99 ($17.49 at CDNOW). I ordered it at the lower price over
the clunky MHS website, and will let interested members know how much
shipping amounted to once it finally shows up. My MHS orders arrive at a
stately pace, measured in weeks, vs. days for the sharper on-line outfits.
