One or two list members had mentioned that a Well-Tempered Clavier was
coming from Rosalyn Tureck. I've just found out that DG is releasing the
complete WTC in the U.S. on the 8th of February. It is a mono version,
but I'll take it.

As I considered the Herreweghe St. Matthew Passion an "event", I feel the
same about this upcoming WTC. I'm also waiting anxiously for Suzuki's St.
Matthew Passion and Manze's Violin & Harpsichord Sonatas to arrive in my
mailbox.

And that's just Bach. There's a whole host of other stuff beaming toward
us. Whenever I think that I'm in the middle of a Golden Age of Recordings,
I just have to wait a little to see that it's just getting better all the
time. The Beatles had it right.
