Right now, I'm very into earlier music. Latest purchases have been
Alfonso X "Cantigas de Santa Maria", a Dunstable disc, and the Gabrieli
"Music for San Rocco" by the Gabrieli Consort and Players. The Gabrieli
has my favorite countertenor, David Hurley. I have yet to dig up more of
his solo work - most is unavailable or out of print, and if he did anything
with The King's Singers, I've got it! Any suggestions to branch out this
early music obsession? Any good madrigal discs out there?
