Thanks for the information.  Actually, the tenor role is Max.  Kaspar, not
listed above, is a baritone.  I've always heard that Reminton was pretty
straight, though a contemporary budget label, Plymouth, seems never to have
used the real names of the performers.  They often got the names wrong too:
Mozart -- Linz Concerto; Schubert -- Trout Symphony.  Also early RCA
Camden's were not above the practice.  My first recording of the Eroica
Symphony was by the "Warwick Symphony," no conductor credited.
