These are on their way to you Walter. I have what may be Janet Baker's
firstLP. Songs by Ivor Gurney, a lovely mixed recital accompanied by her
teacher Martin Isep. Her book "Full Circle" is well worth readng. I know
she was a "northerner" like Ferrier and won the Ferrier prize, but the
voice is so much more beautiful than Ferrier's-well that is my personal
opinion. Find some more Janet Baker And enjoy.
