Deryk is exactly right.  According to the Schwann catalogs, the first M9
to appear in them (the August 1952 edition; they were monthlies back then)
was the Horenstein with the VSO (VOX 7600).  Thus Schwann itself is in
error when it now dates this recording to 1954 (assuming it is the same
recording).
