I just listened to Josh's new CD, "Romance of the Violin" (Sony SK 87894)
played with his 'new' Strad. I was a bit disappointed in the choice of
works, but the violin is so lush it brings tears to one's eyes.

I wish he had waited to record the Mendelssohn - Beethoven concertos
until he had this violin.

I understand there is a legend about this violin. Does anyone know the
story? Does it have a name?

Regards,

Bill Blank
