THE AMERICAN CHAMBER ENSEMBLE ANNOUNCES ITS 2003-2004 SEASON

The American Chamber Ensemble has announced details of its Gala Annual
Music Party and 2003-2004 concert season.

On Sunday, September 21, 2003 at 3 PM, ACE will present its Annual Music
Party on the 10th Floor of Hofstra University's Axinn Library in Hempstead,
New York.

Special guests Stanley Drucker, principal clarinet of the New York
Philharmonic will join pianist Blanche Abram, clarinetist Naomi Drucker
and other members of ACE in a program of informal music making that will
preview the upcoming season.

Admission to the Gala Annual Music Party is by contribution only.
Contribution categories begin at $25, with each category having specific

The American Chamber Ensemble will return for its Sixth Annual Carnegie
Hall Concert on Saturday, March 20, 2004, at 2 PM - Weill Recital Hall
at Carnegie Hall, New York.  Mid-America Productions presents The American
Chamber Ensemble performing David Hollister's Quintet for clarinet and
string quartet, Carl Fruhling's Trio, Opus 40 for clarinet, cello and
piano and Faure's Quartet in c minor, Opus 15 for piano, violin, viola
and cello

The American Chamber Ensemble's Long Island season opening concert, St.
Petersburg -- Celebrating 300 Years, will be presented on Sunday, November
9, 2003, at 3 p.m. when the Music Department of Hofstra University
presents ACE at the University's Monroe Lecture Center Theater on
California Avenue, Hempstead.

Featured pieces will include Stravinsky's Three Pieces for clarinet
alone, Shostakovich's Trio in e minor, Opus 67 for violin, cello and
piano and Arensky's Trio in c minor, Opus 15: violin, cello and piano.

Tickets at Hofstra University Box Office - $10 ($8 senior citizens 65+
and non-Hofstra students).  One free ticket with current Hofstra Card.

Music for Springtime is the theme of the ACE concert on Sunday, March
28, 2004, at 3 p.m., when The Music Department of Hofstra University
will once again present ACE at the University's Monroe Lecture Center
Theater on California Avenue, Hempstead.

Works to be performed are Norman Dello Joio's Theme and Variations from
Concertante for clarinet and piano, Carl Fruhling's Trio, Opus 40 for
clarinet, cello and piano and Faure's Quartet in c minor Opus 15 for
piano, violin, viola and cello.
