I may have typed unclearly Steve.  There is nothing about Higdon that
has "turned me off." I do think Donald Clarke (in another post) may be
right: her orchestral music seems more appealing than the chamber music
I have heard.  I like the colors she uses.  But, all in all, I am a fan
and I am not surprised to find others preferring her to Moravec as well.
(Though the tick tock piece didn't bother me that much.)
