Although I've listened to the Andras Schiff recording of the Goldberg
Variations a few times, I didn't acquire it until yesterday in its
"Penguin" reincarnation. After buying, I started playing it in my car and,
before long, realized that it has only 6 tracks. That makes it very hard
to locate any particular variation. I should have been aware of this when
I was in the store, but, as usual, I forgot to bring with me my reading
glasses which are quickly becoming an essential item when trying to read
small print.

Anyways, I feel that only having 6 access points for the Goldbergs is a
very inconsiderate way to treat the buying public. In this case, Penguin
gives me some profound writings but little else. This leads to my
question. Does anyone know if the original Decca release of Schiff's
Goldbergs also only had 6 tracks?
