Well, I would like to suggest that Wynton Marsalis be considered. And,
although I am not one of his fans, I think that Andrew Litton has just
the personality to pull off some splendid educational programs. I could
live forever without Mr. Litton's podium antics, but as a musician and
especially as an eloquent advocate for music, Mr. Litton is tops. He has
a splendid way of speaking to a diverse audience without speaking down to
anyone. If I had the cash to creat such a thing, I would hire him in a
heartbeat. Another person who would be superb in such a vehicle would be
Peter Schickele!
