A report today from Iraq says the Baghdad Philharmonic is still in
business, giving concerts, apparently mostly of music with political
undertones, such as a composition called "To the UN."

The musicians are paid $3 a month - and that's slightly better than in
Northern California's largest city, where the San Jose Symphony members
get zilch while operations are suspended.
