Celia A. Sgroi from the Lieder-List has started a group devoted to
discussion of Fischer-Dieskau's life, career, and recordings. Anyone who
is interested is invited to join. This is not intended as a substitute for
Lieder-l, which deals with art song in general. The Fischer-Dieskau group
is for people who may want to discuss DFD in more detail than might be
tolerated by lieder fans who are not necessarily DFD fans. (-:

If you would like to subscribe to this group, go to:

   http://www.egroups.com/group/Fischer-DieskauList

BTW, you are invited to join even if you don't consider yourself a DFD
fan, and this is not intended to be a forum for uncritical adoration of
Uncle FiDi.

Natalie Meyer from the Lieder-List invites everyone to join the Bostridge
List which has been active for just over a month now. It's pretty
low-traffic, unless one of us goes on a posting spree, and we don't really
fawn all that much. Discussion ranges from concert alerts to discussion of
recordings/the Winterreise vid/the meaning of the poems in Die Schoene
Muellerin.

Instructions on how to subscribe can be found at:

- we're quite a friendly bunch and are not at all scary. Hope to see some
of you on the list!

Have a Schubert kind of day,
Robert Peters
