The New York Virtuosi Chamber Symphony Players Presents 3 Anniversaries
on April 2 at Christ & St.  Stephens Church

New York, NY - The New York Virtuosi Chamber Symphony Players will present
'3 Anniversaries' celebrating Mozart, Schumann and Shostakovich on Sunday,
April 2, 2006 - 7:00 PM at Christ & St.  Stephen's Church, 120 West 69th
St., New York.

Violinist Dale Stuckenbruck, cellist Maxine Neuman and pianist Gerald
Robbins, core members of The Virtuosi, will perform a program of trios in
celebration of Mozart's 250th birthday, the 150th anniversary of Schumann's
death and the 100th birthday of Shostakovich. Works to be presented will
include Mozart's Trio in G Major, K. 496, Schumann's Fantasiestucke Trio,
Op. 67 and Shostakovich's Trio No. 2 in e minor.

Suggested contribution for the April 2 concert is $20 and $10 for students

New York Virtuosi Chamber Symphony concerts are assisted, in part, by
public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency,
and private contributions.

The New York Virtuosi Chamber Symphony presents world-class performances
of the chamber orchestra repertoire of the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st
centuries. The Virtuosi was founded in 1982 by its Music Director Kenneth
Klein. This 35-piece ensemble, composed of New York's finest players, has
performed at all the major halls in New York City, throughout the U.S. and
Germany and been praised by both critics and audiences for its innovative
programming. The group's current activities include an annual series of
concerts throughout the New York area and the presentation of a Student
Mentorship/In-school Performance and Instruction Program in 6 Long Island
