Christopher Hogwood has recorded all 8 of Gage's symphonies for Chandos
using the Danish Nation Symphony Orchestra.  Before that, Naeme Jarvi
recorded all 8 on BIS.  I have both sets.  I prefer the Hogwood.

Some of the Gade symphonies are real gems:

#1 in c minor was what brought Gade to Mendelshonn's attention
#3 in a minor
#4 in B flat
#5 in d minor

These are the ones I like the best.
