Ariadne auf Naxos: you should certainly hear the Dresden State Opera
version (conducted by Kempe) with Gundula Janowitz, Zylis-Gara, Herman Prey
and Dresden regulars.  Janovitz is a superb singer of Strauss' music IMO.
