Raymond Chan wrote concerning Tureck's WTC:

Just about the same price as at CDNOW - a great example of price
competition in an unregulated market.

I recently read the first review of Tureck's set in Gramophone. The
reviewer considers the performance "of a matchless wit, musical grace and
eloquence". But, he didn't have one word to say about the recorded sound.

There's another WTC on the way. Evgeni Koroliov, who already has recorded
The Art of Fugue and the Goldberg Variations, has Book 1 coming out on the
Tacet label. His Art of Fugue was excellent, but I haven't heard his
Goldberg Variations yet.
