Might I venture to suggest that Listers should hold their breath for 4' 33"
before writing anything further on this subject?

What was always an outrage with this piece, I thought, was that John Cage
claimed copyright on it when it was "performed".  And would a performance
of 4' 35" constitute a breach of copyright?

Perhaps it would be best put to a useful purpose by its becoming the
signature "tune" of Pipedown!?
