Some "structured" film music

Goldsmith: Wind and the Lion (a suite for band)
There are several other concert suites which have
           been assembled from his music

Rozsa: "The Power" features part of his Piano Concerto
Barry: "Deadfall" I recall that one side of the ST is a suite
derived from the score. No doubt there are some film music
buffs out there that will recall other albums that do the same.
Bennett: "Lady Caroline Lamb" redone into a concert suite for viola?
         and orchestra
Honegger: "Mermoz" which was reworked into 2 suites for orchestra
"Napolean" there is a short concert suite from the film
             score
Copland: "The Red Pony" a suite for orchestra
"Music for the Movies" based on several scores
"Music for a Great City" based on the score for
"Something Wild" actually much of it is unchanged!
"The Heiress" there is a short suite from that film.
I also have a tape of Copland conducting an extended suite
Herrmann: Devil and Daniel Webster, suite (based on the music for
the film "All that Money Can Buy")
Welles Raises Kane, suite (Based on scores to "Citizen
           Kane" and "The Magnificent Ambersons")
A Portrait of Hitch, suite (Based on score "The
            Trouble with Harry")
Bliss: "Things to Come" suite
VillaLobos: Discovery of Brazil (4 Suites for Orchestra)
Forest of the Amazon (based on score for "Green Mansions"...
at least I think it is)
Waxman: several of his orchestral suites are based on his film music

etc.

Then there are MANY film scores which feature concert works written
especially for the films and then there are many film scores based upon
classical music. As I recall the producer of "The Private Life of Sherlock
Holmes" has Rosza rework his violin concerto for the score.
