Only sometimes. Late summer supercedure queens obviously have no idea what
happened in the spring.

​Also, hatching workers have no prior direct experience of anything, but
immediately know how clean, nurse, guard, forage etc.   If there's any
'memory effect' going on surely it has to be genetic, rather than via any
kind of learning or experience?
