There is a disorder in Humans caused by an accumulation of copper :
called Wilson's disease. One can suspect it by seeing flecks of bright Cu
rings in the corneas [pupils?] of the eye. My suspicion was confirmed in a
neurological exam. It is relatively rare. However, it does point up the
fact that too much of an important mineral can be as bad as an
insufficiency, if not worse. At this point I can only say that IF CU
becomes part of the honey & wax ingested by some people on a steady basis,
it could poison them.
