When resistance AFB first hit, the commercial beekeepers were all
reporting/talking about it. Now, hardly any discussion - but most tell me they do
what Randy is doing - just get rid of the few hives that exhibit it.

The Aussie barrier system seems to me to be overkill - unsustainable over
the long run, unless they've got a huge problem within an operation to clean
 up.

As per patties, resistance - I see no proof, just speculation. I again
remind everyone, Bill Wilson didn't want to depend on just one antibiotic,
EPA made that call 40 years ago. I am still amazed that it took 40 years for
resistance to appear - I don't consider that fast. It was predictable, j
ust took a longer time than imagined to show up.
