Hello all,

Since Brother Adam died, I have been reading of his attempts to perfect
an "environmentally green" bee, which I assume is an improvement on the
Buckfast strain. Has anyone continued his research along these lines,
or did it all stop when he retired in 1992?? Also, is anyone at the
abbey attempting to keep the Buckfast line from degenerating since
Brother Adam stopped his research?? I'm wondering because I'm really
impressed with the Buckfasts I had this year and I do not want to see
them decline as I requeen.

Thanks,
Kevin Palm
