I believe Snelgrove observed as an additional benefit of his swarm control
method that bees were more likely to use the chamber below his famous board
than would otherwise be the case and this tendency could be exploited for the
production of comb honey.  This was written at a time when comb honey in
wooden sections was the norm, long before Ross Rounds were invented.
