MEDHAT: "Peter and others: if a treatment used as a miticide that means killing. In the case of miticides used as natural or synthetics they kill and can cause damage. Bees and mites are very close relatives as arthropods. I am not surprised to read this report. You already pointed out a good point. Are we safer keeping mites in he hives without treatment or should we accept some damage to bees from used miticides? The answer is clear, till we find safer means to kill mites without any damage to bees. We can accept a non significant side effects. Once we move the reseach to the colony level then we might find different results and the impact can be acceptable."

We have found safer therapy. It is called Bee Vital Hive Clean. It is organic. It can be used anytime even during nectar flow. Has no side effects. It is used all over Europe and elsewhere with excellent success. I have been using it in my colonies for awhile without any adverse reaction or bee losses. So you should request that your government IMMEDIATELY approves this MOST EXCELLENT medication for use by Canadian beekeepers in order to stop bee losses. Pcelar.
