No such experience.  I assume the queens had attendants and food & 
water.  And the temp. was reasonable.

I have several lavender plants in the garden and the bees work it 
eagerly.  Mark Winston once described in Bee Culture several 
compounds in lavender honey that should steer people away from it...  
Winston said that he plans to still enjoy his lander honey...
