You're joking, right? Genetic engineering is a tool, a technique. In that respect it is no different from other tools and techniques in that it can be used in a variety of ways. 

no,   I was trying to understand the "moral" issue she was displaying.  It would seem from a right/wrong aspect.    She did of course explain that it was the outcomes  she disagreed with note the principal involved.
