This year my wife reacted badly to stings requiring adrenelin and
oxygen for anaphylatic reaction.Circumstances required a concentrated course
of 35 injections of bee venom over 5 days at an immunology clinic. Our local
Dr. now administers the injections weekly(=2 stings) but this will lessen to
monthly visits in 8 weeks time. This will continue for about 3 years but the
signs are good. The specialist claims 100% success with bee stings.
The British medical publication The Lancet February 4 1989
pp.259-261 has information.
