I know you have said the above before but Ed levi must be basing his
statements on what he has learned.
Hopefully the truth will come out.
I have never met Ed Levi but a quick phone call said he was highly
respected.

> According to the manufacturer,

Which manufacture if indeed there has been three different as Ed Levi said?

I know Zoe con made the strips sold first in the U.S. and I think Vita
Europe sells those sold today. Max Watkins is their rep and comments at
times on BEE-L so maybe Max will comment?

Many of us had heard the formula had changed and was made stronger at the
time fluvalinate was losing its effectiveness. I never tried to follow the
information to its source. Has Ed Levi or is he simply repeating rumors? I
would really like to find out.

The maker of fumigillin has changed over the years and many beekeepers
suspect what is sold today is a weaker version of the old Fumidil B. One
commercial beekeeper did a test with an outdated bottle of the of fumidil B
against the fumigillin and said there was better control with the fumidil B.
Not sure how scientific the test was as a bee supply house told me of the
test but many beekeepers think fumigillin has not got the control it
formally had.
