very bad guess?  .

Actually the above information the research is based on is the average given
on pg.325 (pollen/ Parks, Ribbands, Singh)  and pg. 327 (nectar / Herberle &
Lundie) of the 1992 edition of the Hive and the Honey Bee. Sure there are
variables and many studies and figures are quoted but only two average
figures are given. I would say the above is an accurate figure for number of
trips per day and time based on the research of the research listed in the
book.
