> I disagree. I dont think they made any point.   The clam that many lost more than 1/2 is pretty dang normal. Without numbers and data i assume the are hideing and sensationilizing. Something that group has been doing for a while.  Begging for handouts and subsidies.

I was just talking about the numbers, they had the numbers in the report. 

But I think you nailed the thrust of their intention: it was a plea for "handouts and subsidies." And another unsubstantiated attempt to blame their losses on agricultural pesticide use. 

Honestly, there are some people that believe the world owes beekeepers a living. And some people that don't.
