I'd guess she survived because:

1)You spotted her quickly, got her out, and rinsed her off (I assume),
2)She's larger than the workers, and I know that you know that the dose makes the poison.
3)She probably got a good buzz on.
 
No different than a human line backer versus a 100 pound woman - what gives him a buzz could make her falling down drunk.  Or he gets very drunk, and she goes to the emergency room.  As I noted, bees get drunk.  Too much is toxic to them.  Nothing different there.
 
I don't know if bees exhibit fetal alcohol syndrome.

I'm guessing, if she's laying; you won't see a problem with the off-spring.  If you do, I'd like to hear what you observe - physical changes, abnormal behavior?
