To add my two cents,

When using a regular inkjet, which works mighty fine for me, spray the
printed label with hair-sprayer; it will not only water-proof the printed
label but it will also make the letters smudge-proof. (Not that there's
something wrong with human-error-looking labels, though rare)

Irregular and smudged labels often give an impression of a "Mom and Pop"
homey, local operation than the sleek artsy-fartsy industrial-looking ones
done by professionals. For my niche market, I prefer the folksy look.
(Imagine the joy of finding a real gem in a rustic sideline operation, which
is not Wal-Mart!)

As Jim pointed out once, put down as ingredients something like "The sun,
the rain, the local flowers, and my hard working bees on Puritan work ethic."

Yoon
