No, the realistic experiment would be in the field. It has already been shown in numerous lab tests that insecticides kill bees when the chemicals are put in their food. Bees are insects! What needs to be shown that these chemicals are harmful in the field, under actual usage conditions. There is substantial evidence which shows they are not.

Many studies have looked for such effects and not found them. In fact, as we have reported here time and again, what is typically found is hives failing to thrive due to parasites and also, high levels of beekeeper introduced chemicals, many of which are also insecticides and have been shown in lab tests to be harmful to bees.
