I don't have a dog in the proverbial hunt and tend to agree that 'black box' approaches hold more promise from my decidedly humble vantage point.

That said, there are now more than a couple examples of breeders employing the Harbo Assay to good effect when coupled with standard approaches to productivity, temper, etc.

Cory Stevens immediately comes to mind and looks poised for a big market break-out this year:
