For what it is worth, during a stretch where USPS was killing incoming
queens, I had some hives queenless longer than I wanetd and I added QMP
strips to see how they do. I forgot to remove the strips when I did requeen
a few of them, took me a minute why I was seeing such damage (wing chewing,
overall aggression) to the new queens. I still have one of the queens
going, with nubs for wings.

I did not see this behavior in the ones I remembered to remove the strips
from. I won't leave them again.
