My bees (started as packages this spring) they are just now getting enough
strength to effectively forage wild blackberry. Unfortunately the honey flow
for blackberries is comming to an end. A local farmer has about 20 acres of
vetch sown which is just now comming into bloom. Does anyone out there know
what kind of a crop, if at all, can be made from vetch. I'm not sure if
honey bees even forage this plant. Any sage wisdom would be greatly
appreciated.
