Some common substances are lethal at levels of parts per billion, such as

botulinum (botulism)	270 ppb
tetanospasmin (tetanus)	75 ppb

On the other hand, glyphosate is only about 3 times as toxic as pure alcohol. 

Ethanol	LD50 =  918 grams
Glyphosate   340 grams

and is less toxic than table salt, or bleach

Sodium Chloride    258 g
Sodium Hypochlorite  136 g
