This exactly matches my experience, in which we typically obtain 80% mate
out in decent weather.  In poor weather, perhaps 50%; in perfect weather
approaching 100%.

my comments..
these numbers pretty much coincides with what I experience here... at least in the spring/early summer time.  after the heat of summer is past and as I work into the fall of the year I routinely begin rearing a few cell and the success rate on these can be more like 50%.
